Leftover Apocalypse

Leftover Apocalypse

Calliope Smith's eighteenth birthday wasn't going great, but at least getting yanked into a world of magic and monsters is a good way to ditch the police. Sure, people (and allergies, and magical accidents, and who knows what else) might be trying to kill her, but if the choice is between learning magic and going back to Earth she'll deal with almost dying all the time.

Is she a chosen one? It would be an odd choice, considering she has to frequently remind herself to be a good person. Is this just an accident? The letter from a mysterious benefactor promising magic and cash would imply otherwise.

This is a high fantasy adventure about an end of the world that happened, or didn't happen, or might happen. It's fine. Everything is fine. They already fixed it, it's not going to be a problem. Probably. It's also a story about trying to do the right thing while not really wanting to, and making friends when you're bad at it, and having fun despite being hunted by the goodguys and the badguys alike. It's a story about how everything is built on something else, and sometimes those things are broken.

Updating 2-3 times a week, usually Monday / Wednesday / Friday.  Chapters are beefy at an average of 3,800 words.

Things that might make you want to read (or not read) this story:

 - The main character is a flawed hero, not an anti-hero; she's just someone who puts actual effort into being a good person because it doesn't come naturally to her.

 - The main character is also a teenager in a new world.  She's naturally impulsive, and at many points in over her head.  If you're someone that cannot stand when a character occasionally makes a non-optimal or even kinda dumb choice in the heat of the moment, this isn't the story for you.

 - On a related note, the main characters are significantly underpowered for the first ~50 chapters at least, though this is partly a story about getting cool magic and becoming more powerful - I'm just not in a rush about it.

 - Whether or not this story contains any apocalypses would be a spoiler, but in terms of genre it is NOT a post-apocalyptic story.

 - The story is realistic in the sense that it is not cartoonish, people act basically like actual people, the magic has some established rules and limits, etc.  But also it's high fantasy and shit gets pretty wild by the end.

Content warnings:  Nothing too bad, honestly.  Some discussion of mental illness and bad/abusive parenting (primarily neglect and emotional abuse).  Injuries may be described in detail, but in a matter-of-fact way rather than with the goal of being gory or shocking.  Discussion of foster care / group homes (mainly just mention of them being a thing, and of various staff or government employees associated with them being unhelpful). People are captured and helpless in a scary situation multiple times.

Hell Tower: Ascension - [Isekai/Litrpg]

Hell Tower: Ascension - [Isekai/Litrpg]

They say rock bottom is the end—Nathan just found out it's the starting line.

A job. A girlfriend. A best friend. Nothing special, but it was his. Then, in a single hour, it was gone. One viral scandal. One betrayal. One public execution of his reputation. Now, he’s just another washed-up loser, staring out a bus window, wondering where it all went wrong.

Then the bus explodes.

Nathan doesn’t die. Not exactly.

Instead, he wakes at the foot of a monolithic black tower, in a world where mana is law, monsters rule, and the weak don’t survive. No explanations. No second chances. Just a System with one rule:

Climb. Adapt. Survive.

At first, survival is enough. Then he starts to understand.

The Tower isn’t just a prison—it’s a game. A brutal, merciless crucible where only those who seize power can rise. Tiers unlock. Skills awaken. Mana bends to those willing to take it. And with every floor, Nathan isn’t just surviving—he’s winning.

Because he’s done playing fair.

He will climb. He will break limits. He will master the Tower’s system and rewrite its rules.

Because when the world turned its back on him, it made one crucial mistake—

It let him live.

What to expect:

- Tiers, Skills, and a System built for those who can master it.

- From down-and-out to climbing the Ranks—steady, earned progression.

- Mana mastery and Cultivation.

- Training on Death March.

- Witty Dialogues. Moments of Humor. And a guy who refuses to quit.

- Slow Burn.

Choose Your Apocalypse (A LitRPG Apocalypse, Progression, System Fantasy) [CYA]

Choose Your Apocalypse (A LitRPG Apocalypse, Progression, System Fantasy) [CYA]

‘A Rounding Error has Occurred.
Please Choose Your Apocalypse as Compensation.’

Choose Your Apocalypse: Apology Tutorial throws Alex Johnson—a home-based IT worker—into a brutal, LitRPG Apocalypse.

Now, Alex gets to design his end-of-days. Like choosing wallpaper for his own personal inferno. Joy…

Enemies? Skill tree? Potentially helpful or annoying sidekicks? All (semi-)customizable! Or, he could go it alone, which, let's be honest, probably won't end well.

Of course, because the universe is cruel and capricious, there are hidden forces at play. Uninvited and unwelcome, they seek to control his fate. So, Alex is going to be fighting uphill, against the odds—and probably some interdimensional middle managers—from the word "go".

Wish him luck, because he’s going to need it.

This fiction contains violence and tense situations. It will reference adult topics but will not contain sex scenes nor overt delves into 'sex/sexuality after the fall.' It will not contain MC romance anytime soon, if ever.

I have roughly plotted the first three books and expect there to be many more.

I do hope you enjoy this tale, but let me know what you think either way! Critique, both positive and negative, is welcome.

Release schedule is weekly: Tues & Thurs

Average Chapter Length: 2,000 - 2,500 words, biased high

Thank you for your time and for giving this story a try.

Kenji’s Post-Apoc Snack Shack

Kenji’s Post-Apoc Snack Shack

“He delivered 1000 souls to fantasy worlds. Now he’s stuck in the worst one.”

Kenji was once the legendary "Truck-kun"—a divine courier tasked with sending worthy souls to their isekai destinies. After 36 long years of service and 1000 completed deliveries, he was promised retirement in a peaceful fantasy paradise with maid cafés, magic wine, and voluptuous elves.

The gods lied.

Instead, Kenji wakes up in a frozen, apocalyptic wasteland—where half the world is buried in eternal ice, and the other half is a demon-infested nightmare. Humanity survives underground, eating protein bars made from cockroaches, monsters, and worse. And Kenji? He’s stuck on the surface... with only a half-functional, god-gifted food truck as his salvation.

At least the truck comes with a microwave and canned food from his original world.

Armed with divine-grade vending systems, snarky turrets, and a system that names everything with troll energy, Kenji begins trading canned comfort food for monster parts, slave girls, and rare resources.

Can Kenji survive the apocalypse, build the most dangerous convenience store in history, and maybe, just maybe, enjoy retirement in peace?

Probly not.

Read the Warning

Look, before we get too deep into this—you sure you’re in the right place?

This isn’t a hero’s tale. No chosen one. No tragic backstory leading to a selfless crusade. Nope.

Our main character? He’s a grumpy, perverted ex-delivery driver who got tossed into a frozen apocalypse with a divine food truck and zero motivation to be a better person.

He doesn’t save kittens. He enslaves beautiful women. He builds automated kill-drones and negotiates world politics with canned meat. And if you think he’ll suddenly grow a conscience? Yeah, no.

He only cares about one thing: what benefits him—especially if it comes with a hot bath, a foot massage, and elf twins calling him Master.

Still here? Really?

Well its not that bad to be honest, but its a post apocalyptic set up so some morality doesn’t apply here. Anyway give it a try.

Sheer Consciousness

Accompanied by Mateo, a fast-talking, loose-lipped, lost soul, their adventures take them West toward Yellowstone, which becomes their new hope for the future. On their journey they meet myriad travelers, but only one who joins them on their quest. Jamila is a bright light in a world of darkness that is all-consuming.

As the trio make their way through the treacherous frontier, Dax must reexamine what is most important to him in this new world.

OP Character - Ancient Being Predecessor of the Primordial Era

OP Character - Ancient Being Predecessor of the Primordial Era

Being mistaken for an Ancient Predecessor usually resulted in heavenly benefits. Not for James Anderson.

After being thrown into an isolated training realm, he was quick to figure out that there was no tutorial. No guidance. No ancient being to fully unlock his system. For eons he remained stuck by himself. Only system notifications and rewards appearing out of thin air kept him from going insane.

But even that eventually stopped working.

Standing at the precipice of the Isolated Realm. He closed his eyes and jumped.

A tear in reality opened under his feet, unbeknownst to him. Dumping him into a cultivation world gone awry. Demons and evil cultivators now dominate the world. Righteous sects and clans hole up in caves and array defended mountain peaks.

Why they hide? Well, let's just say James had something to do with it.

Follow James Anderson, or is it Yin Hu, as he is dragged into petty squabbles and the lives of the last remaining Hu Family members; Hu Shui and Hu Jun.

Will he achieve his ultimate dream? Would there finally be his dream lady to pamper him after eons of struggling? Or maybe he should begin a harem chasing adventure?

Follow James (Yin Hu) as he navigates the world with the belief he isn't that strong.

His power breaks the rules.
Every soul he reaps feeds something that is always watching.

But something pulled him from the wreckage—breathing new life into a body that should’ve stayed broken.

He wakes in a dungeon steeped in rot and ruin.
No memory of how he got there.
A Class he didn’t choose.
A soul-bound Core that shouldn’t exist.
No XP. No level-ups. A glitched System.
Just a rising soul count—and a voice whispering from the dark.

> “You were broken long before I found you. I only gave the pieces purpose.

Outside, the world is cracking.
Jace finds allies in a band of misfit adventurers—but the more souls he reaps, the more the System shatters… and the more his fury spirals beyond control.
